We were actually a little late to see the Olsynium douglasii this year, but there were still plenty up.

David found another white flower.

My favorite pond was still picturesque.

The Fritillaria pudica were open nicely.

In case the photos belie the truth, the whole plant is no more than 3 or 4 inches tall.

Crocidium was open.

It was a busy day animal wise. There were vultures, meadowlarks, eagles, hawks, deer, a frog, a snake and a coyote. Not all at once mind you.

Lithophragma.

David examining a sideways tree.

This Lomatium columbianum was blooming in an old rock wall.

Quite a nice walk! Perhaps we'll have more company next year...
